Goalkeeper Coaching in Leeds

James started his career in the youth leagues of a very strong Cheshire League. Eventually James was lucky enough to be invited to play for Blackburn Rovers. Whilst there James was sent out to play for a very strong non-league side in Witton Albion who at the time were plying their trade in the higher echelons of non-league football. James unfortunately suffered a career ending injury whilst there.

It was from that point that James moved into Coaching. James has coached teams throughout grassroots football from young children to open age men’s teams. James presently works for Chesterfield FC in developing their young Goalkeepers.

James is fully insured and CRB checked. James has completed his Level 1 and 2 in both Outfield and Goalkeeping. James has also completed his Level 1 and 2 and 3 youth modules and Level 1 Futsal. James is presently working through his B Licence for Goalkeepers with the Welsh FA and is also awaiting his assessment for his Youth Award
James is a strong believer that the coaching should adopt a professional outlook and that everything J4k Yorkshire does is in line with what pro academies are doing. Above anything else James ensures that all of the sessions are fun with a very strong undercurrent of the correct techniques being taught.

Away from goalkeeping and running J4K Yorkshire, James enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 sons, watching football and having trips out. He is an avid Liverpool FC fan.
