Goalkeeper Coaching in Sefton

Joe started playing goal aged ten and impressed at an early age that he signed for Tranmere Rovers FC and played until he fourteen years old. While he was there he was coached by the now Liverpool GK coach John Acturburg.

Joe also had trials at Blackpool, Everton and Liverpool.

At the age of sixteen he attended Myerscough College, where he studied an Extended National Football Diploma. Joe continued playing and was coached by the Manchester United GK coach.

Joe then went into coaching working for the Liverpool FA and was the Formby FC goalkeeper coach in a successful year where we won the league and reached the cup final.

Joe then travelled to Boston, USA where he was a Director of Goalkeeping for a soccer club, where he ran coaching sessions, overseen the running of looking after all 70 goalkeepers at the club and then ran camps in the all school holidays.

Now back in the UK, he wants to put his experience to run goalkeeper training for local goalkeepers.
